How it works.

The Standard Lighting incentive is built for retrofit and replacement projects that modernize existing lighting with efficient LEDs. Qualifying projects can include indoor lighting, outdoor street and area lighting, LED fixture and control upgrades, and networked lighting controls.

This incentive requires pre-approval. Apply and receive your Application Approval Notice by email before purchasing equipment or starting work.

With TVA EnergyRight incentives reducing upfront costs, the company now saves over 106,000 kWh and $6,500 each year, with projected savings exceeding $65,000 over the next decade. Plus, their project payback period is now 48% faster with the incentive.

FedEx Supply Chain

FedEx Supply Chain upgraded more than 2,200 outdated fluorescent fixtures to LEDs in its 1 million-square-foot Memphis warehouse, boosting efficiency, safety, and working conditions. With support from TVA EnergyRight and MLGW, the project is expected to save over 1.75 million kWh annually, reduce costs by approximately $150,000 per year, and earn a $175,434 incentive.
