The Quality Contractor Network connects customers of participating local power companies within the seven-state Tennessee Valley region with hundreds of licensed, insured contractors who’ve been through TVA’s vetting process. This free, searchable directory makes it easy to find help for rebate-eligible home energy upgrades. QCN contractors will handle the rebate paperwork for you; all you’ll need to do is claim your rebate when you receive your rebate code.

In addition to all rebate-eligible upgrades, you can also get help with home improvements like:

• Air sealing
• EV charger installation
• New attic or wall insulation
• Duct system repairs or replacement
• New HVAC system installation
• HVAC tune-ups
• Water heater installation
• New windows

Start by answering two quick questions to confirm your home’s eligibility (your ZIP code and local power company). From there, you’ll get a list of qualified contractors that you can narrow down by ZIP code, distance, jobs completed, and customer rating. Browse profiles and reach out to contractors directly through the portal.

You can begin your application here. Have the following ready:

• General company information.
• A valid business license (held for at least one year).
• A completed banking form for electronic funds transfer.
• A completed W-9 form.
• Certificate of insurance (general liability and workers’ comp).
• Proof of general liability coverage — minimum $500,000, or $1 million for HVAC contractors.
• A list of local power companies serving the areas where you work.

HVAC contractors also need:

• NATE/HVAC Excellence certification.
• Manual J Certification.

If your company operates under multiple licenses, apply using the one under which you do the most work.
