REQUIREMENTS

Refrigeration incentive eligibility and requirements.

Here’s what you need to know about eligible projects and upgrade requirements.

Electronically commutated motors.

Motor types: constant CFM, constant RPM and/or constant torque. Retrofit of existing refrigeration cases, walk-in refrigerators and walk-in freezers. Replacement of shaded-pole induction motors.

High-efficiency reach-in cases.

$200 per linear foot for medium and low-temp cases or $100 per linear foot for open cases. Requires LED case lighting, ECM evaporator fan motors and high-efficiency low/no anti-sweat heat display case doors. New refrigeration cases or retrofits of existing standard efficiency systems only.

Evaporator fan controllers.

Installed on an ECM. Retrofits of existing refrigeration cases, walk-in refrigerators and walk-in freezers.

NOTE: Replacement of motor(s) not directly related to refrigeration may be eligible through the custom incentive offering. All refrigeration incentive projects require pre-approval. DO NOT purchase, remove or install any equipment until all pre-approval requirements have been completed and a formal Application Approval Notice has been received via email. Eligible for installation of ECMs and evaporator fan controllers on existing equipment only.
