Houchens Industries upgraded over 1,300 outdated light fixtures at its Bowling Green, Kentucky, headquarters with energy efficient LEDs, earning $22,203 in incentives. Now they’re saving over 278,000 kWh annually and cutting costs by an estimated $35,000 per year — thanks to a $22,203 TVA EnergyRight incentive, while providing brighter, more efficient lighting for the 30,000-square-foot office space.
CoolSprings Galleria
CoolSprings Galleria in Franklin, Tennessee, partnered with Middle Tennessee Electric and TVA EnergyRight to upgrade its aging HVAC system through a custom incentive. The project unlocked $378,277 in incentives, reduced annual energy use by more than 3.7 million kWh and now delivers over $482,000 in yearly cost savings. The incentives helped offset upfront costs and accelerate payback, driving long-term operational and financial gains.
